The sculpture shows the Italian painter, sculptor, architect, thinker and poet Michelangelo Buonarroti (1475-1564) in the dynamic position of a thinker. A brilliant representative of the Renaissance era evenly combined the talent of a sculptor, painter and philosopher. All sculptures are dedicated to revealing the physical and spiritual beauty of a person. Michelangelo’s sculptures and paintings are characterized by the drama of the images, the plasticity and at the same time the complexity of the poses of the characters, the monumentalism and multifacetedness of the images.

Madrigals and sonnets that belong to his creations are examples of poetic art and are devoted to such philosophical themes as happiness, love, loneliness. Some of them were set to music during the life of the genius; Michelangelo’s poems inspire composers of different eras to our time.
