In the sculpture ” St.Andrew the First-Called ” the author reveals the image of selfless service. A simple fisherman Andriy was called by the Teacher to become a “catcher of people”. Let’s remember that “Saint Andrew was one of the four disciples of Jesus, to whom He revealed the destinies of the world on the Mount of Olives” (Mk. 13:3). Saint Andrew was the first to bring the Teachings of Christ to Eastern Europe and reached Byzantium. He was misled and insulted, but he still carried the teachings of the new era selflessly and confidently, saving humanity from ignorance.
