Sculptor VOLODYMIR SHEVCHENKO
Vladimir Shevchenko is an expressionist sculptor. An energetic and active sculptor literally fills work with movement, an expressive force of life. A distinctive feature of creativity is the increased expressiveness in sculpture, as a manifestation of feelings, moods, thoughts. The sculptor’s creative credo is the words of Auguste Rodin: “ Beauty is everywhere. … The main thing is to be moved, to love, to hope, to tremble, to live. Be a man before being an artist!”. Sculptor works in the field of monumental and easel sculpture. The sculptor creatively approaches all stages of sculpture production: from the development of sketches, layout, welding of the frame, sculpting to molding and bringing the sculpture to perfection. Favorite material is metal, chamotte, marble.
Sculptor Vladimir Shevchenko was born in 1979 in Ukraine, in Kyiv. In 2005 he graduated National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, Department of Sculpture, Professor Shvetsov’s V.V. studio. Since 2016 Vladimir Shevchenko is a member of the International Art Foundation.
