Valkyrie. 2008.

According to Norse mythology, the Valkyries are the warlike maidens of the heavenly abode of Asgard. They approach the earthly world during war battles, hovering over the battlefield on their horses and determining the course of the war. Serving the god Odin, they distribute the winners and the vanquished, transferring the defeated warriors by the order of Odin to the transcendental land of Valhalla (the buvoy “palace of the slain”). Valkyries also determine the fate of all people at birth.
