Sofia, Vera, Hope, Love. 2006

The names of Christian Roman martyrs of the 2nd century became common nouns, expressing Christian virtues. The sculpture embodies three leading forces, headed by Sophia-wisdom, which guide a person along the spiritual path. Faith in God and His sacraments gives Hope for a better future together with Love, which inspires.

In the sculptural composition, mother Sophia – wisdom – feeds the baby-Love, Vera leads forward with an aspiration upward, Nadezhda acts as a support and support for the holy family. Three doves – the presence of the Holy Trinity – the affirmation of Light on the Path.
