Russian founder of space science, biophysicist, founder of space biology and heliobiology, aeroionification, electrohemodynamics, inventor, philosopher, poet, artist.

The outstanding person of our time, “Leonardo of ХХ century”, he proved with his work that the mankind, living on the Earth, is constantly under the influence of space. He was the first who experimentally proved the fact of the opposite physiological effect of negative and positive ions of air on living organisms. A. Chizhevsky represented the relations between the cycles of solar activity and various phenomena of the biosphere, highlighted the relations of a living organism with the surrounding external environment.

He developed a theory of the energetic connection of cosmic and terrestrial phenomena. He also developed and approved                a model of the integrity of the world, the principles of uniformity and determinism, global evolutionism and the principle of cosmic rhythm. Chizhevsky is considered as the founder of Russian cosmism for the development of these ideas.
